Low-Cost Programs in Madison County
We have 2 low-cost spay/neuter programs available to residents of Madison County, AL. They both cost $5 if you meet the requirements. If you live in Huntsville City limits, please call one of the veterinary clinics listed with the Fixin' Alabama Program. If you live oustide of the city limits, anywhere in Madison County, please call one of the veterinary clinics listed with SNAP's Fix Your Pet Program.
If you live in Huntsville city limits,
use the Fixin' Alabama Program.
IF YOU LIVE IN THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE
and if you are on Medicaid, WIC, EBT, Social Security Disability, or if you have an annual household income of $35,000 or less, you qualify to have your cat or dog spayed or neutered for $5.00.
Please call one of the following clinics and tell them you live in the city of Huntsville and that you want to make
a $5.00 Fixin' Alabama appointment.

Appointments are made on line
and require a $20 deposit for each animal.

Discounts are applied at check-in
after documents are verified and copied.
To qualify for this program, you must provide documentation
at time of appointment.
Driver's License with current address
or utility bill in same name as appointment
PLUS any ONE of the Following Documents:
Medicaid, WIC or EBT Card
Social Security Disability Benefit Letter
Proof of Household Income Under $35,000/yr -
Top copy of past year's 1040.
